Can I Take Montek LC For Cold, Nose Blockage Instead Of Cefpodoxime Since The Latter Has Had No Effect?

I am having cold with nose blockage from last 1 week. I am taking Cefpodoxime but the cold is not fully under control. It appears again and again, with feeling of both cold and warm, as environment is changing in Melbourne (summers at the moment). I do have Montek C tablets (cytrizine 5 mg and monteleucast 10mg) as prescribed by my family doctors a long time ago. Can I take Montec LC. If not, prescribe me any other medication.
