Can I Take Sorbidiol Tablets While Having Intermittent Abdominal Pain?

I am 50 years male having 81 kgs weight and 162 cms height. I am suffering from cholelithiasis and one stone size is 9 mm, other few are less. Suffering from abdominal pain 4 to 5 times in a month. Can i take Sorbidiol (UDCA) Tablets? If yes, at what dose shall I take and how long?

Hello,

Consult with your doctor because this medication has side effects and is used only when your doctor after making analysis abdominal ultrasound think that the risks of taking the medicine is low. Also, in my opinion, cholecystectomy is a definitive treatment for most gallstones, and most people recover quickly and completely from it.
