Can I Take A Claritin D For Hay Fever?

I m taking metoprolol for high BP. I mowed yesterday and am really suffering with hay fever today. I used to take Claritin D (plain antihistamines don t work for me) but I haven t taken anything since the BP meds commenced (5 months now). Can I take a Claritin D or should I avoid all decongestants? Thanks!

Hi!! There is no problem in taking decongestants and metoprolol simultaneously. You can easily take claritin D with metoprolol. Regards Dr Asmeet.
