Can I Take Albendazole For Sour Odoured And Mucousy Stools?

Hello doctor,
My stools have sour odour and with mucus, my mom is a senior staff nurse and she asked me to take albendazole a week ago but i am still suffering from the same problem, and i have a tendency to eat a lot above my limit.
I frequently have this problem which has been from few years. Now i am taking nor metrogyl as per my mom's instructions.I follow proper and strict sanitation.
How do i get rid of this problem? Please help.

As you mentioned you have problem of more mucus in stool that may be because of irritable bowel syndrome or other reasons..
Consult a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis..
Detail history and investigation give exact idea about problems..
Start a treatment as per reason behind it...
