My mother aged 73 years has been suffering form Pneumonitis since October and a very very bad cough since then. Her ESR is 70 mm and Eosenophilia is 11%. Today she has been advised by the doctor to take Hifen Plus, Deriphyline Retard, Syrup Grilictus, Happi - D and Allegra. She has been also advised to do the below tests
Sputum for routine and culture and atypical pneumonia profile. Should these tests be conducted and are the medicines correctly advised. Kindly advise.Thanking you. Dilshad Mistry.
