Can I Take Norethisterone For Heavy Periods?

hi i had novasure in march and had a period 3 weeks later and off and on since..almost continuously. My gp has referred me back to the consultant but i am due to travel a long distance and be away for 3 weeks in a remote location where heavy periods are not going to be easily managed. Can I take the northiserone i was on before to help with this?

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
With a past history of novasure with good result atleast at your first menses after intervention, i think the procedure can protect you for some time. However, you can get norethisterone for precaution since you have had it before and had no negative reactions to it.However, a more reassuring chat with your consultant will be a good step to take before you travel if you are chanced.
Best regards
