Can I Take Three Tablets Of Indomethacin For Icepick Headaches?
I was given indomethacin for what was diagnosed as ice pick headaches. I took two to begin with and now almost three hours later, it is not working. Can I try one more tablet? Tried to call my doctor twice so far and no one is getting back to me. I am still having great pain, it is getting worse, and I am wondering if there is another drug to try? If so, I could mention it to my doctor or her nurse.

I am sorry for the symptoms you are suffering
You should understand that oral treatment need some time to benefit its effects
I think two or three days after treatment you will be fine
If you don't see any release after two days you can discuss with your doctor the possibility of starting difmetre which is a combinatin of anti inflammatory, miorelaxants, sedatives
