Can Keppra, Dilodid And Percocet Cause Confused And Paranoid State Of Mind ?

I was hospitalized in May 2016 for approx 10 days for severe chronic abdominal pain; while hospitalized suffered seizures and was started on Keppra, discharged around the 25th with prescription for Keppra, Dilodid and Percocet. The first week of June was admitted to different ER due to an apparent overdose in a confused, paranoid state of mind. What are the chances it was a Side effect of a medication?

Hi,

Cannot say in your particular case. And, narcotic overdoses would generally change ones concentration. Dilaudid is quite a powerful narcotic and can cause a variety of problems especially over dose.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
