Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been diagnosed with esophagitis, GERD, and gastritis. EDG done in Feb. 2014. Been taking Dexalant 60mg. In June put on Librax along with the Dexalant. I read online Librax should not be taken for esophagus and gerd because the Librax causes the LES to relax, allowing acid to backup into the esophagus. I still have pain in upper abdomin. Don t know what to do if Librax should not be taken for esophagus, but librax should be taken for stomach. What should I do.
HI Well come to HMC Although there may not be clear cut role of "chlordiazepoxide and clinidium" is there, because this is "Tranquilizer and anticholinergic drug" but if you are comfortable with this and feeling better then you can continue this, hope this information helps, take care have a nice day .
