Thank you. I am a 55 year old female, 6 tall, active but overweight - 285 lbs. I have been taking 20 mg lisinopril for 2 years and for the last 9 months been suffering terrible side effects which I only recently accidentally discovered was because of this poisonous drug - my doctor prescribed Benicar 20 mg. and for 2 weeks I have been monitoring my b/p ( averaged 177/104 pulse 64 ) but I now feel so much more alive. However, I do have bouts with dizziness, and the Benicar does not seem to yet have this b/p under reasonable control. So, to help elliviate this dizzines ,I have been augmenting my meds with the occational dose of lisinopril, which helps some. My question ( doctor is out of town this week ) is this : can I mix these two drugs safely for the time being? I have a physically demanding job which is outdoors, ( contractor ) and I cannot afford to be just slouching around with no energy to even walk 100 feet. Not a joke - that lisinopril had me thinking I was dying and I literally got my affairs in order . Never so convinced of death in my life. Thanks so much. L. Lion
