Can Loestrin Cause Left-sided Chest Pain?

I ve been getting a pain in the left side of my chest. It feels like it is under my breast behind my ribs. I went to the hospital to get it checked out. My blood pressure and heart rate was normal. They also took an x-ray which would apparently show up any clots or escaping air and that was normal too. They didn t know what was wrong and fobbed me off with painkillers. I have recently changed my contraceptive pill to loestrin and whilst the pain seemed to go on my pill free week now I have started taking them again it has got a lot worse. Could it be because of that?
