Can Meftal P Be Given To A Child For Fever?

Hi, my kid is running high fever from yesterday and the doc suggested Meftal P and Lanol Drops, both are capable to reduce the temprature, but no antibiatic, is it ok to continue this medicins for high fever, should we start asking doc for antibiotic??

Meftal P is a strong medicine for fever and better avoided in kids. paracetamol is better drug followed by ibubrufen.

Controlling fever by anti -biotics is not same. It is used only for bacterial infections. Doctor has best avoided it.
