Can Methadone Be Taken For Heroin Addiction?
I am takin 10mg of mehtadone daily for herion addiction , i am purchasing on the street because their is a waiting list for perscribed methadone , i am doin alot better and have been clean 4 days since i started using it , i think anything is better thanb using h so i am purchasing from a good source , methadone is the only thing so far that is keepin me clean , whats ur opinion please

Methadone is an opioid just like heroin, but it is comparatively safer than heroin. So it is used as a replacement for heroin in people who are very heavy users of heroin. In my opinion, if you were not a very heavy user of heroin, you should try quitting all kinds of opioids and actually getting clean, rather than shifting to methadone.
