Can Metronidazole Intake Be Stopped Abruptly?

I started antibiotics (amoxicillin and metronidazole ) yesterday but I am due to go to a very special occasion on Saturday if I stop taking the metronidazole after today and resume on sunday but still take my amoxcicllin will it be okay ? I have a tooth abcess! A

its not recommended to skip an antibiotic dose. most people hv nausea due to flagyl for which additional antiemetics can be added to make it tolerable. ie domeperidone or metoclopramide. but a single day missed dose wont do u much harm ie the tooth abscess would most probably get fully covered even with the missed dose. thanx
