Can Mupimet Or Vicco Turmeric Be Used For Treating Red, Burnt And Irritated Skin On Nose?

Hi, I was using garlic to remove mole on my nose. It has resulted in reddening & blackening of skin. It feels as if the skin is burnt. Also I tried to clean it with undiluted Dettol which resulted in severe burn. Can I use Mupimet for this or Vicco turmeric?

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Please don't try home remedies for moles. Home remedies wont remove moles,. because moles are deeper and if they do they will leave behind a permanent ugly mark on your face.

You seem to have developed an irritant dermatitis to garlic worsened by dettol.

Mupimet is just a plain antibacterial and wont work for the irritation and hyperpigmentation. Vicco turmeric might make it even worse.

In such a case I would suggest that you use a moderately potent topical steroid e.g fluticasone propionate cream twice daily for a few days. It would resolve irritation as well also fade away post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
