Can NuvaRing Cause A Cold Sore And Sickness?
I am a (normally) healthy 30 yr old woman, i got (what i assume is) a cold sore a few days ago for the first time. My family, friends, boyfriend don't get them so I'm a bit puzzled. Now I am sick and hope the two are unrelated. Also I started NuvaRing about 5 weeks ago. coinscidence?

Cold sores are due to herpes simplex, acquired any stage of life and will occur when immunity is low. It will resolve itself in 7 to 10 days. for early treatment you can have antiviral pills.
