Hello,

Sometimes fever is associated with other symptoms like headache, vertigo, nausea, dizziness, and itching which does not need to treat as it goes by itself.

For Viral fever we prescribe paracetamol 500 mg only, now it depends on the grade of fever, if its high-grade fever (>100 degrees Faranhite) and not getting controlled even by taking it thrice in a day, then I suggest you to increase the dose for 24 hours like 500 mg paracetamol every 6 hourly with cold sponging.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
