I have been diagnosed with chickungunya x3/7 and is taking paracetamol for it. My period was due on the 3rd day from day diagnosed but didn t come. Can the use of paracetamol delay your menstrual cycle? Please note that I have been on birth control 21 days plan and started the treatment for the virus in the free 7 days.

It is unlikely that paracetamol delays menstruation. In my opinion you should do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy as a very small percentage of women taking oral contraceptive pills can get pregnant.
