Can Primolut-N Cause Complete Pause Of Menstrual Bleed If The Dosage Is 2 Tablets Twice Daily?

hi,



as soon as i had spotting in which my period was about to start. I took Primolut-N already. My doctor told to take 1 tablet twice a day. Orginally she wanted me to take 2 tablets twice a day. Will my period completely stop if i increase to 2 tablets twice a day?

Increase in doses does not increase in efficiency.
There are advised dose of every medicine beyond which the drug may bring more adverse effects rather than benefit.
Same is true for primolut N.
It is a steroid drug and excess of it may cause nausea, headache, hypertension and thrombosis.
So you must take these medicines only under the supervision of a clinician.
