Can TBM Cause Lost Appetite, Diarrhoea, Irritablity In A 8 Month Old Child With Montex Test Positive (12 Mm Size) And Whats The Cure?

My 8 month old child is montex test positive (12 mm size) and currently on homeopathic treatment. But i'm not seeing any visible improvement. He is frail, currently having loss of appetite, diarrohea is common, irritable and losing wait. Is it because of TBM? what is the cure and time span required? Hb is 8.5,

i understand your concern.

yes, it can be because of TBM, it can produce variety of symptoms ranging from loss of apetite to irritable and coma. Cure is using anti tubercular drug duration of treatment for TBM is for 6-12 months with this vary from country to country. Child needs treatment for anaemia also.
