Can Wysolone Cause Sleeplessness?
My wife is 56 years old and recently suffered from autoimmune hepatitis.She has recovered but she still has to take wysolone 10 alternate day.she complains of sleeplessness the day she takes wysolone,Our doctor says it is psychilogical.Is there any chance that it is a sideeffect of wysolone

Wysolone is most used prednisolone.
There are so many side effects as water retention, edema, hypergylcemia, but INDIGESTION, MOOD CHANGES , DEPRESSION may be the reason of insomnia ( sleeplessness ) in your wife case.
Two options are there either stop the drug after consultation with your doctor or take some sedative drug with wysolone.
Third option is also take wysolone early in the morning.
