Can A Nicotine Patch Cause High BP?

Hi, I've been using a nicotene patch for 33 days and haven't smoked in that time frame but Ive noticed pressure in my neck, suspecting my BP, I checked it at the pharmacy and got 167/89. I've taken the patch off and will discontinue use of the patch to monitor further. I'm 64 and never had high BP so this alarms me a little. Thanks. Denny

Hii

I admire you for positive outlook.

Variation in blood pressure occur many time and it is situational.

Mostly nicotine patch is not lead to elevated blood pressure.

You have to take serial blood pressure for 3 days and then consult your doctor for further assistance.

Take care.
Thank you.
