Can A PCOS Patient Get Pregnant After Unprotected Intercourse?
I have severe PCOS and rarely get a period, maybe once or twice a year if anything. 2 weeks ago I had unprotected sex with someone, and about 5 days afterwards I began experiencing some cramping, nausea, heartburn, and hotflashes. they lasted a few days, and now I've just been left with some minor cramping and a brown/light pink color when I pee. I took a test and it was negative, could my PCOS cause false reading on a hpt?
Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion pcos doesn't cause any false negative test.In case of pcod there will be no or irregular ovulation so difficult to predict if you are at risk of pregnancy or not.But as the test is negative the pregnancy might be ruled out.But I suggest you to repeat the test after 2 weeks. If still negative then the pregnancy chances are less. The irregular spotting might be due to PCOD.
