Can A Baby Have Loose Motion After Intake Of Lactogen?

Hello Doctor, My son is 4 months old and he has been given lactogen for the past 1 month.. He is now having loose motion almost for 2 to 3 times after feed. He has been then changed with Nusobee instead of lactogen. And also given Taxim-o and Nutralin-B for 5 days.. Now after 5 days, I tried lactogen again since Nusobee was over. He is again having loose motion.. Please suggest a prompt solution.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks and welcome to HCM .
Darrhoea destroys intestinal mucous membrane leading to deficiency of lactase enzyme .
It takes about 10 days for repair of mucous membrane .
Hence lactose free milk is advised.
To know this get the stool examined for reducing sugars.
Hope this reply is OK for you.
Further queries invited .
