Can A Divot On Head Mean Broken Skull?

I hit my forehead on the corner of the end table. I now have a divot. There is very little swelling, no bruising and I dont have a headache. The divot is about the size of a small pea. Could I have cracked my skull? If so is there anything that can be done about it.

Hello dear,
If you have no symptoms like headache/vertigo/nausea etc,significant injury like intracranial bleed/skull fracture are highly unlikely.In such cases,a divot just indicates minor defect in the subcutaneous tissue formed by the impact.It will be made up in a few days.
If you develop any aforementioned symptoms,you should seek medical help without delay.Otherwise,need not worry.
