Can A Head Injury Lead To Frequent Dizziness And Vertigo?

I slipped on ice, fell and hit my head on the wooden deck. I feel fine except I am dizzy on and off. It is a weird kind of dizzy. I have a small knot on my head but that is it. I often experience vertigo. Could the hit cause it to act up or is the dizziness from the hit. I get dizzy when I turn my head or go up or down.

yes since you had hit the back of the your head most likely where the balance apparatus of body is located you may feel dizzy. Please get an MRI done which would rule out any soft tissue injury on the hind brain.
