Can A Knot Between The Hairline And Neck Cause Dizziness?
I have a knot between my hair line and neck. It comes and goes. First time it was on the left side now its on the right. Almost everyday multiple times a day i get a little dizzy like. Like everything moves or like feels like im gonna fall down but it only happens for like a quick second. Maybe the knot is causing that to happen im not sure.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
How old are you? If you having neck muscles spasm may feel like knot. occupational neuralgia may also present like this. Giddiness may be due to BPPV or vertebro basilar insufficiency or labyrinthitis etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. other possibilities for giddiness like hypotension or hypoglycemia or anemia or cardiac problem etc. Avoid excessive elevation of head while sleeping, use tablet Vertin thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your orthopedician/ neurophysician they will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
