Can A Low Sodium Level Be Causing Arm, Jaw And Legs Pain?

IN THE PAST WEEKS I HAVE BEEN EPERIENCING SEVERE PAIN IN MY RIGHT ARM- RECENTLY GRAVITATING TO MY JAW. EARLIER I ALSO HAD SEVERE PAINS IN MY UPPER LEGS. I ALSO FIND THAT MY WORK AS A BOOKKEEPER AT A LIBRARY IS BECOMING DIFFICULT FOR ME-ALTHOUGH I HAVE BEEN CARYING OUT THEE DUTIES FOR THE PAST 25 YEARS WITHOUT DIFFICULTY. I AM 87 YEARS OLD AND IN MUCH PAIN. I HAVE (YESTERDAY) BEEN TOLD THAT MY SODIUM LEVEL IS EXTREMELY LOW. CAN THESE SYMPTOMS BE RELATED? Elna L. Dwyer

yes, your blood sodium level may indeed be the cause for your muscle pain and tiredness. if i were your treating doctor i would recommend rest and following diet.
- increased salt
- soy based food
- fish
- avoid canned foods
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help
