Can A Peptic Ulcer Cause Breathing Problem?

I was just diagnosed with a peptic ulcer. I am having difficulty taking deep breathes and I feel like I have a stitch in my side...very uncomfortable to sit; best to stand or lay down. Waiting for biopsy results to confirm H pylori bacteria. What is the actual cause of this breathing problem?
