Can A Preemie Born Child Have Problems In Growing Years?

My former preemie (25 week gestation, 1lb. 10 oz at birth) - now 6 years old. After and during swimming, my child shakes violently with being cold. It does not stop him, but he can't seem to get warm. Is there a reason for that? He weighs 35 pounds now.

Hi...as such he is underweight for his age. But this doesn't not cause this shuddering while swimming....There is not specific for this...generating body heat at 6 years in a developmentally normal kid doesn't depend on his birth weight.
