Can A Reaction From Prednisone Cause Red Rash And Itching?
my boyfriend was taking prednisone and took it for over a week. after he stopped taking it he developed a red rash and it itches very bad. a dermatologist told him he thought it was scabies. but neither me or my children have it. could this be a reaction

Hi,
It may be a reaction, and may be a skin disease, but any way prednisone is used to treat any reaction. So, you can give him an anti-histaminic tab to relieve this itching.
