Can A Retroverted Uterus Be Brought To Its Normal Position?

I had missed abortion ... on 15th of this month the product of conception was expelled out with 3 doses of misoprostol given via vagina... after the expulsion of the product, my doctor tried to do D & C, but he noted some obstruction. Both abdominal and trans vaginal ultrasound was done. Then, I was found to have acutely retroverted uterus..How can I bring my uterus to normal position??

Hi,

Yes, there are a few options available.

Pessary
knee-chest position exercise
or you can go for surgery.

If not treated it can cause painful sex and difficulty during pregnancy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
