Can A Woman With TSH 7.2 Get Pregnant?

My age was 25,height was 5.4 & weight was 63kg.Until now i didnt get high TSH. i got married on june 20th 2010.i am trying to conceive.but i didnt get until now.3days before i analyzed my blood report for TSH.Level of the TSH was 7.2 so it was high as per standards shows maximum acceptable limit was 4.2 At this situation i can get the pregnanacy.

In the current scenario, if you have normal ovulation, you can get pregnant. The deficiency of thyroid may cause abortions, preterm labor and low birth weight babies unless corrected. Even if infertility occurs due to the thyroid insufficiency, it can be corrected with hormone supplementation with periodic monitoring. The hormone treatment should be continued even during pregnancy. The dosage may need to be increased at intervals during pregnancy as the demand raises. Hope this helps.
