Can Acid Reflux Lead To Problems In Swallowing?

Hello,
I have been having swallowing for sometime now. I went to the doctor where they tried to put a scope down my throat but it will not go all of thw way. Since that procedure I have been able to swallow more but other test will still be performed to see what the problem is. I do have acid reflux extremely bad. What could be the problem?

Gastroesophageal reflux disease may lead to ulcer in oesophagus that form a scar and narrow esophagus.

Laryngoscopy examination helpful for diagnosis.
Barium swallows for further diagnosis.
Manometry to check pressure in oesophagus during swallowing..

Consult a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis.
Detail history and investigation give exact idea about problems.
