Can Alcohol Be Consumed Moderately While Recovering From GBS?

Hi I am recovering from GBS came down with it two months ago. I was walking on my own in one month and doing well. I am going to the gym but working out lighting and hitting golff balls at the driving range. I do have to take rest a couple times a day My question is can I drink alcohol once in a while, beer or cocktail

Hello,

I understand your concern. I am assuming you have already completed the course of treatment for GBS. I am also assuming that by GBS you mean Guillain Barre Syndrome, rather than Group B Strep.
In any case, provided you are not currently on any other medication, including pain killers and blood thinners, physical activity to cope with tiredness and possible muscle wasting, as well moderate amounts of drink every now and then should be fine. Plenty of rest and a healthy diet should be the focus to your recovery.
