Hi, My husband suffered from typhoid 3 weeks back(24th nov), he was under medication for 2 weeks(till 3rd Dec). Doctor told him to stop the medication and continue the diet a week ago(from 4th Dec). He consumed alcohol yesterday (10th Dec). Can you please tel me if there are any side effects, and how to overcome that?

Thank you for asking!
Typhoid patient should have a gut friendly diet to avoid any complications like perforations. So i would say abstinence from alcohol would be wise. And alcohol is bad anyway and should be stayed away from irrespective of the situation.
Take care
