Can An Infant's Lungs Get Infected Due To Milk?

hi sir, i've a nephew of 4 months old(surgical delivery, 1 month before of normal delivery time due to less fluid in womb and 1.7kg weight on delivery) .From 4 days he hasn't take milk sufficiently and crying more often. we've consulted doctor, after so many tests they said the infant lungs has infection cause by feeding milk(nan 1 milk substitute milk powder), milk got into lungs and so infant got pain in chest, and the doctor said that the infant got stones in kidneys and swollen.



does it very serious? any solutions?

Hi,
From history it seems that your child might be having aspiration pneumonia.
Not milk but ant liquid goes into the lungs or vomiting stuff enters into respiratory tract may cause respiratory tract infection.
Continue the treatment as advised by your doctor.
