Can Anemia Cause Acne?

Hi!
I would like to know if anemia can cause acne. I treated my anemia a few months ago and then stopped the treatment. I've just learned that I have anemia again, and I got a lot of pimples since a few months. I would like to know if this is related.

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Acne is not related to anemia.

Pathogenesis of acne is basically governed by 4 factors:

-Onset of Puberty OR Hormonal imbalances
-Propionibacterium acnes bacterium which resides in the follicle
-Stickiness of lining epithelial cells
-Inflammation

Anemia is not implicated in the causation of any of these.
