Hi!
How are you?

Needs cautions!

Since both the drugs basically depress the brain functions and given together there is increased risk of sedation like drowsiness, respiratory depression ( your breathing may slow down) which can be more dangerous. The dosages of both the medicines should be adjusted in a way to have least possibilities of the harmful effects but not compromising the beneficial effects.

Take care.

Welcome to HCM!
I can appreciate your concern.
Incomplete date like age and gender.
Usually these drugs are not given together because they are known to cause more drowsiness, sleep, some times the depression caused by this combination can result in breathing problems.
Kindly consult your physician for the reasons for combining these two medications.
