Can Anti-fungal Be Given Along With Antibiotics For Fever?

My son is at urgent care. He went in on Sun. May 18th with fever, shortness of breath, rash. X-rays showed bi-lateral pneumonia. They gave his IV antibiotics and breathing treatment. Sent him home on anti-biotics and with inhaler. Also drew labs including to test for Valley fever. Today, temp was back up, trouble breathing, etc. Back to urgent care. X-ray shows left lung better. Right lung shows more fluid. Another dose IV antibiotics & breathing treatment. Drawing additional labs. No labs back from Valley fever. They are planning on keeping him on the same antibiotics. He is 21 years old, normally is in good health. Can an anti-fungal be given with antibiotics. We live in an area that has seen a rise in cases of valley fever.
