Can Antidepressants Be Taken Before Going For RAI Scanning?

Hi Doctor, I had total thyroidectomy 5 yrs before for papallary carcinoma. Every year I do my all body scanning after stopping my thyroid medication, and I feel iam suffering from depression. Is it ok to take antidepressant before going for RAI scanning?

Iam 38yrs of old and my weight is 70kg
