Can Antihistamine Treat Bug Bite ?

I thought I had a couple of mosquito bites on my legs on Saturday. Now, there s only one bite that has quadrupled in size, swollen and the whole area is red and itchy and as a rock. Should I just take an antihistamine? The other bites have disappeared.
