I am a 29 year old female, 5'11 200lbs. As long as I can remember, I would occasionally experience tightness in my chest. Today it began about an hour and a half ago, and has not gone away. I am able to perform normal duties, cooked dinner packed my sons lunch for school. I am under a lot of stress both at work and in my personal life, and am a pretty tense person. Do you think this could be caused from anxiety, or should I be worried about a heart attack?
I dont think you should worry much about it. And of course stress and tension can cause chest tightness. For surity of not having heart attack just get done ECG. Keep your self calm. Take good anxiolytic medicines.
