Can Any Online Doctor Help Me With The Test Results?

Hello! Can you explain about the uterus is anteverted and measures 9.4 x 4.9 x 3.7 cm. with a smooth contour and homogeneous echopattern. The cervix measures 3.7 x 3.4 x 3.5 cm. and is closed with homogeneous echoes. The endometrial stripe is isoechoic and intact. It measures 0.6 cm. with an intact subendometrial halo. There are no uterine masses seen.
Both ovaries are lateral to the corpus. The right ovary measures 4.3 x 4.0 x 2.5 cm, while the left ovary measures 4.9 x 3.4 x 2.3 cm. within each ovary are small, immature, subcapsular follicles (numbering 14 each), measuring less than one centimeter in widest diameter, surrounding a dense stroma, suggestive of a polycystic ovary. The right ovarian volume is 21.5 ml., while the left ovarian volume is 19.1 ml.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Your ultrasound report gives an impression of polycystic ovary. It should be correlated with the clinical findings for putting a diagnosis of polycystic ovarian syndrome. Facial hair, irregular menstrual cycle, obesity are characteristic for this. Infertility will be present in those who are having irregular periods. Insulin resistance also will be present in Polycystic disease.Metformin therapy will benefit them for relieving symptoms.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
