Can Apo-cilazapril Cause Stiffness And Soreness In Neck?
hello I am taking apo-cilazapril for blood pressure together with metformin as I am a diabetic. For the last few months I am suffering with a severe sore neck which they said following the mri was arthritis and shrinking of the nerve vertebrae, due to playing rugby years ago. I note that one of the side effects of apo-cilazapril is stiff neck could this be increasing the pain I am experiencing in this area? Des Hetherington 67yrs old.
Hello Dear. Apo-cilazapril has got nothing to do with the symptoms you are experiencing. This drug can cause sore throat, not pain in the neck. Your symptoms are mainly due to cervical spondylitis you are having. Kindly get appropriate treatment with your orthopedician. Wear cervical collar regularly if it is prescribed for you.
Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you. All the best With warm regards Dr Sanjay Kini
