Can Arthritis Be Cured Without Surgery?

Hi Drs.
My mom as severe arthritis in both knees, and is in pain
Every day, she also as back pain from her being in a car
Accident years ago, she's 59 years old, but with all the pain
Is like she's in her 80's. Is there anything you can recommend for her without her doing surgery?

she shuld take regular calcium and vitamin D3 and also avoid squatting and sitting cross leg. She will feel much better. Also she should apply voletran ointment and hot water fomentation and compression bandage should be applied to her knee.
