Can Back Pain Be Related To Bowel Problems?

I have had pain on my right side of my mid back for months now. There is a particular spot on my spine that hurts to touch... And the pain goes from there ... All along my "floating ribs" . It hurts to lay on that side... And sometimes just standing or walking. I have had an upset stomach as well.. And I have been drinking ginger ale & eating saltines. When I do eat meals, I feel full even half way through my meal. I just took a Zantac . I have to rush to the bathroom when I have to "move my bowels".....

Thank for asking to Ask the Doctor service.
I have reviewed your query, and here is my advice
These are the symptoms that indicates the acid peptic disease. This may cause the muscular spam, stomach ache, sick feel, chest pain and discomfort, in another word it is the hyperacidity mostly associated with dyspepsia. If I would be a doctor of this case then I would try to treat this case with Omeprazole once in day and it has to be continued for few weeks, avoid taking heavy meal, spicy meal, avoid taking coffee, alcohol, and smoking prior to bed

Hope I have answered your query, Let me know if I can assist you any more.
