Can Blow On Head Cause Short Term Memory Loss And Headache?

Yea hi I got hit in a hockey game directly in the face at a good speed and I am having slight short memory loss, head aches( 3-4 a day) and as I get the head ache I get a metallic smell. Do u think the blow to the head could be the cause of this?

Your symptoms are quite normal after a head concussion. But, I would also recommend performing an EEG and a brain MRI study to investigate for other causes of metallic smell.
If these tests result normal, there is nothing to worry about. Your symptoms will improve spontaneously. You need just a little patience.
