Can Breathing Difficulty And Chest Heaviness Be Side Effect Of Cetil 500?

I am 39 yrs old, i got an allergy when I was a child in an antibiotic but my mother can't remember the name. 2 days ago my doctor prescribed cetil 500 2x a day for my cold, cough & slight fever. But now, I 'm having a slight difficulty in breething and heaviness feeling on my chest, slight scratching on my head, ears and face &slight numbness on my lips. My doctor will be available only tomorrow, should I rush now to emergency? What should I do?

Hello
As you mentioned that you are having cold, cough , slight fever and also ( now after treatment of CETIL 500 mg )chest congestion , itching head ears , and numbness . Cetil is a "cefuroxime " and its side effects are cerebral irritation , convulsions, nausea , vomiting , diarrhea, erythema , anaphylaxis , nep hrotoxicity but if this drug given in LARGE doses.
In your case the dose is proper and alright .
In my opinion these symptoms may be due to asthmatic allergic bronchitis .
When such case visit I advise them to take monteleukast+ fexofandine one or two tablet according to necessity . Some times if severe allergy I advise them to take Methylprednisolone 16 mg a single dose .
In my opinion no need for emergency , just take methylprednisolone 16 mg with monteleukast+ fexofenadine .
