Can Cardio Exercise Cause Blood In Stools?

Hi, I am 25 years old. And I go to gym daily 5-6 times a week and burn about 600-700 calories on different cardio machines. Will someone have blood motions because of that? because I see it I thought that might be the reason. Can you tell me reasons for blood motions. Its mostly occurring during the end on a tissue.

Hello,

Blood in stool after exercise is not a normal finding. There are more than one reasons for your problem starting from hemorrhoids which is most common to bleeding peptic ulcer, diverticulitis, or rarely rectal cancer.

I would advise you not to ignore the problem and consult a physician for a physical examination.

I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
